Open Door Church exists to love people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
OUR VISION
Compassion: We take pride in showing compassion to our community. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible with the hope of Jesus.
Purpose: We believe every life has purpose. We are striving to live out our purpose and help guide others to theirs.
Honesty: We want to be as relatable and honest as possible. We do NOT have it all together, but we are striving everyday to be more like Jesus.
Integrity: We strive to do all that we do for God with as much character and integrity as possible.
History
Open Door Church started in the home of Michael and Cahgan Jefferson in October 2021. Their main goal has always been to reach as many people as possible with the love of Christ and invite individuals into a relationship with Him. They are trying to do this in new and creative ways that will reach new people for Christ. This is their first shot at church planting, and they are hopeful that God will bless their efforts. Currently, Open Door Church meets at the City of Decatur Youth Services building.
